Robert Jerin
Dr. Jerin is currently a professor of criminal justice in the Law and
Justice Department at Endicott College. He graduated in 1975 from
University of New Haven with a B.S. in criminal justice, in 1980 he
graduated from Florida State University with a M.S. in criminology and in
1987 he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Ph.D. in
criminal justice. He is the author of numerous refereed journal articles
on crime victims services, victimization, crime and the media and the
history of the crime victims' movement. He is a co-editor with Dr. Laura
Moriarty of a reader entitled Current Issues in Victimology Research and
is co-author with Dr. Moriarty of a book entitled Victims of Crime:
Issues, Programs, and Policy. He is also the proud recipient of the John
Dussich award for contributions to the field of Victimology.
